Search Engine Optimization Help!?
I have a few questions about SEO. I’ve done some research on SEO‘s, but I’ve come to the conclusion that a lot of what’s out there isn’t really helping or is some sort of enrollment site. I know that they’re are probably some good sites, but that’s not what I need. I just need to figure out the basics. I’m not sure how to get the site registered or to be acknowledged by the Search Engines. I’ve read that by posting it in blogs, also by registering through the Search Engine. If the help requires links, please don’t send me to one of those register sites.

There are tons and tons of websites out there offering SEO information/news. The problem is that 90% of them say the same old rehashed information that has been passed around since 1999.
SEO is constantly evolving and you need reliable sources that stay up to date with what "really works".

Call some seo companies, they will do a free analysis for you and give you information that you need.

I learned a lot by going to a seminar by our local business association. They had a presentation by an SEO company. Sure it was a little salesy, but he was very forthcoming with lots of advice and good information. See if your local commerce group/IT association has something similar …
